National Flu/Pneumonia Vaccination Programs
A necessary part of corporate health and wellness strategy is flu vaccinations for employees. By scheduling on-site flu shot clinics, you can provide your staff with convenient access to flu shots during the months of November, December and January. It is much more costly to provide in-house flu shots and eliminate time off for employees to get vaccinated or for employees who fall ill because of lack of vaccination.
All flu-shots are administered by registered nurses and are dependent on flu serum availability, and delivered in accordance with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations. (www.cdc.gov)
Pneumonia is an easily preventable disease by vaccination and can affect anyone, although some people are at greater risk than others, including the very old, the very young, and those inflicted with HIV, certain types of cancer, alcoholism, or heart disease.
